2.1. Scope and definitions
This manual provides the installation, operation and maintenance instructions for
the dry pumping system. The pump must be used as specified in this manual.
Read this manual before the installation and operation of the pump.
The units used throughout this manual conform to the SI international system of
units of measurement.
The safety data sheets for the chemicals supplied by us can be obtained by
contacting us, or at www.atlascopco.com.
2.2. Applications
The dry pumping systems are suitable for a wide range of industrial applications.
We have a dedicated team of applications engineers who can help to determine
the best dry pumping system for an application.
W
arranties may be invalidated if the dry pumping system is used on an
unsuitable application. If in doubt, contact us.
2.3. Description
The dry pumping systems range has been developed to meet the demanding
requirements for process pumping solutions in industrial applications. The range
sets new standards for harsh process capability, reliability and reduced cost of
ownership in low footprint packages.
The dry pumping system is designed as a plug and play system. Connect the dry
pumping system correctly
, provide the power and set the target pressure, then
press the start button on controller, pump will start. Start, stop and the
emergency stop button can be used to control pumping system. For more details,
refer to Figure: Service diagram.
A high flow purge and the solvent flush kit are available as a factory‑it option to
clean the pump mechanism on applications where large quantities of dust and
sticky deposits are encountered. Purge free kit is available as a factory-fit option
for clean application.
