– Remove all bolts -arrows- from sealing flange of vacuum
pump.
– Pull vacuum pump out of its mounting.
– Disconnect vacuum line from vacuum pump after removing
pump.
Installing
Note
Renew gasket.
Ensure that gasket is seated correctly.
– Connect vacuum line to vacuum pump before installing pump.
Pay attention to correct installation position.
– Turn drive lugs of vacuum pump so they engage in slots in
camshaft when vacuum pump is installed.
– Fit vacuum pump in position.
– Make sure that gasket is seated correctly.
– Fit all bolts to sealing flange of vacuum pump and tighten.
– Fit vacuum line into plenum chamber partition panel.
– Connect vacuum line and vacuum hose at back of plenum
chamber partition panel.
– Install plenum chamber cover ⇒ Rep. gr. 50 .
– Install engine cover panel.
