8 - Wheel bolts
❑ Fit wheels ⇒ Wheels and tyres; Rep. gr. 44 .
9 - Bolt
❑ Tightening torque: 5 Nm
10 - Spring clip
11 - Brake line connection to brake hose, 12 Nm
12 - Brake line
❑ Screw into brake caliper housing
❑ Screw into brake hose, counter hold on brake hose hexagon.
❑ Do not twist hose when fitting
❑ Ensure that lugs are properly seated in grooves in bracket.
13 - Brake line connection to brake caliper, 17 Nm
14 - Bracket
❑ Bolt to brake caliper housing
❑ Attach brake line
15 - Bolt
❑ Tightening torque: 25 Nm
16 - Brake caliper housing
❑ If assembly work is required, do not leave caliper hanging from brake hose but secure it to body with
wire
❑ With the exception of “Renewing brake pads” ⇒ page 64 and “Servicing front brake caliper”, no repairs
may be performed on the brake caliper.
❑ Do not twist hose when fitting
17 - Retaining spring
❑ Note correct installation position.
Note
The retaining spring must be push‐
ed under the brake carrier after en‐
gaging onto both studs. If incorrectly
installed, the wear of the outer pad
cannot be adjusted, and the pedal
travel will be increased as a result.
2.2 Removing and installing brake pads (PR
1LG/1LD/1LH/1LV/1ZL)
When renewing the brake pads, also check the brake disc for
wear. Refer to wear limit for brake disc
