– Remove rear centre console. ⇒ Rep. gr. 68
– Remove Climatronic control unit - J255- . ⇒ Rep. gr. 87
– Remove parking brake contact switch - F321- . ⇒ Rep. gr. 96
Installing
– Installation is carried out in reverse sequence.
6.6 Removing and installing brake pressure
sender - G518- and brake pressure
sender - G519-
Removing
– Raise vehicle.
Note
♦
The brake pressure sender (sensor) is attached to the brake
pipe connector. The brake pipe connectors are located in the
engine compartment (left and right).
♦
The brake pressure senders (sensors) can be renewed indi‐
vidually.
♦
The older version of the brake pressure senders (sensors)
1J0... ⇒ ETKA cannot be bled.
♦
In order to bleed the brake system completely, replace the old
version with the new version.
♦
The new version of the brake pressure sender (sensor) can
be identified by the Part No. 4F0... ⇒ ETKA .⇒
– Remove wheels.
– Unscrew speed nut -1- and fold back cover to one side.
– Unclip wiring harness.
