14 Brake hoses and brake lines
14.1 Routing of brake hoses/lines
Replacement brake hoses and brake lines are supplied as spare
parts ready to be installed.
Secure brake hoses and brake lines to the original mounting
points when installing.
Brake lines to hydraulic unit
– Items -1- to -4- Hexagon nuts ( -M10- and M12 for ∅ 5 mm
brake lines), tightening torque: 12 Nm
– Items -5- and -6- Hexagon nuts ( -M14- for ∅ 8 mm brake
lines), tightening torque: 16 Nm
Brake hose to brake caliper at front axle
– Item -1- Brake hose; make sure that locating lugs engage
properly in bracket.
– Item -2-: Retaining spring
– Item -3-: Brake line, tightening torque: 17 Nm
– Item -1-: Brake line, tightening torque: 17 Nm
– Item -2-: Retaining spring
– Item -3- Brake hose; make sure that locating lugs engage
properly in bracket.
Brake line routing in wheel housing at front axle
– Item -1-: Brake line, tightening torque: 12 Nm
– Item -2-: Connection piece
