– Remove bolt -1-.
Installing
Installation is carried out in reverse sequence.
Note
Use new clip when fitting vacuum line.
13.3 Removing and installing electric vacuum
pump - S6
The S6 model has an electrically driven vacuum pump.
The vacuum pump is not intended to be serviced. If problems oc‐
cur, trace the fault by means of a function test and/or pressurised
leak test. Renew the electric vacuum pump if a fault is found.
Removing:
The vacuum pump is fitted on the right of the engine compart‐
ment.
Removing
– Release fuel lines at bracket and press upwards carefully.
– Release hose clip on vacuum hose using suitable pliers.
– Pull off vacuum hose.
Caution
Take care not to damage the vacuum hose. The vacuum hose
must be renewed if it is damaged.
– Press clip -arrow- out of retainer by hand (2x).
