– Push retaining clip in -direction of arrow- and unplug connec‐
tor.
– Remove bolts -1-.
– Remove hydraulic control unit.
Installing
Install in reverse sequence, paying attention to the following:
Note
♦ Do not remove sealing plugs from new hydraulic unit until cor‐
responding brake line is ready to be fitted.
♦ If the sealing plugs are removed from the hydraulic unit soon‐
er, brake fluid may escape and it may no longer be possible
to fill and bleed the unit properly.
– Fit hydraulic control unit in bracket.
– Connect pipes as previously marked:
1 - To front right brake caliper “VR”
2 - To rear left brake caliper “HL”
3 - To rear right brake caliper “HR”
4 - To front left brake caliper “VL”
5 - To primary piston circuit “HZ 1”
6 - To secondary piston circuit “HZ 2”
Note
Do not tighten bolts completely. This will make it easier to attach
the individual brake lines to the hydraulic unit.
– Attach connector to hydraulic control unit and lock connector.
