– To lever out retaining spring, insert screwdriver between re‐
taining spring and pad retaining spring.
Note
The spring is under tension; hold your hand over the spring to
avoid risk of injury.
– Take care not to scratch or otherwise damage the surface of
the pad retaining spring.
– The retaining arrangement is indicated by the -arrow-
– Lever brake pad retaining spring out of brake caliper housing
with a screwdriver and remove.
– Unplug connector for brake pad wear indicator.
– Turn connector 90° while using a screwdriver to release con‐
nector from bracket.
– Pull connector upwards out of bracket and detach wire.
– Detach brake line from bracket.
