Function Descriptions
This section describes each measurement function in detail. The Main
Panel for each measurement function is shown, as well as a block
diagram of the measurement performed.
For measurements that are the same in both digital and analog
domains, only the analog is shown in the block diagram. The digital
function is essentially the same, except that it is implemented with DSP.
Amplitude
The Amplitude function is selected by pressing the FUNCTION
AMPL/NOISE key. It is available in both analog and digital modes. It
provides a measurement of the amplitude of an analog signal or of the
the audio embedded in a digital signal.
