Generator Control Modes
Both the analog and digital generators operate simultaneously.
The ATS-1 Dual Domain has four control modes, which allow control
of different attributes of the digital and analog generators:
.
Analog Audio Generator Mode (A:GEN) - allows control of the
amplitude and frequency of the analog generator
.
Digital Audio Generator Mode (D:GEN) - allows control of the
amplitude and frequency of the embedded audio signal
generated by the digital generator
.
Digital Sample Rate Generator Mode (D:RATE) - allows control
of the sample rate and the carrier amplitude generated by the
digital generator
.
Digital Jitter Generator Mode (D:JIT) - allows control of the
amplitude and frequency of the jitter applied to the digital
generator
The mode is changed by the Generator Mode button, marked on
Figure 3-9. The generator control mode will change with each press of
the Generator Mode button regardless of what panel is displayed, but
the changes are only visible on the Main Panel and the Generator Only
Panel. The generator section of these panels will change depending
on the generator control mode.
