The REMOTE interface (9p SubD connector) provides Hook control for an external
hybrid and Ring LED control capabilities.
The RECEIVE input is a female Jack 1/4” socket into which the output from an
external telephone hybrid may be plugged. It is a balanced input.
The SEND output is a female Jack 1/4” socket into which may be plugged into the
input of an external telephone hybrid. It is a balanced output, providing a mix-
minus feed (i.e. the programme output signal minus the phone signal).
It adjusts in the +/- 15 dB range the level of the signal incoming from telephone
caller via the external telephone hybrid.
It adjusts in the +/- 15 dB range the level of mix-minus signal which is sent to the
telephone caller via the external telephone hybrid.
