WARNING!
Risk of heavy weights!
- Be careful when transporting!
- Use only the transportation
equipment included or other comparable and certified
one
- Bear in mind the weight of the machine (see
‘Technical Information’)
- Bear in mind the centre of gravity of the machine (see
‘Dimensions Drawings’)
- Do not step or hold underneath when it is in the air
Current provisions of the concerned country on transportation must be observed!
When lifting and moving the machine, observe the valid safety procedures on
handling of heavy weights!
Information on transportation
Bear in mind the centre of gravity of the machine while transporting. Weights and
dimensions of the machine are specified in technical information. (See ‘Technical
Information’ and ‘Dimensions drawing’.)
Preparation for transportation
- by ship: in containers designed for seagoing
- by airplane: a wooden frame on special flight legs
- by lorry: a wooden frame
Transportation by ship
The machine is placed on a wooden frame keeping it steady and firm in the
container. A forklift is used to move the machine. It is possible to lift it longitudinally
with the frame but to move it transversely you must insert the forks into the fork
drawers on the machine.
