Adjustment of eye spikes
It is necessary to adjust the position of eye spikes
as to the size and species of fish.
- Open the protective part at the back
- Loosen 3 bolts (fig. 41, in yellow) with a
19 mm bit on the extension
- Move the eye spike if needed (fig. 42)
- Tighten the bolts again
- Close the protective
part.
Adjustment of head bar
The head bar’s function is to direct the
head and keep it down. It must come as
close to the knife as possible. Make sure
it is free to turn a little.
- Loosen the nut (fig. 43, in red)
- Take hold of the bearing case (fig.
43, in blue) and screw it up.
- Adjust the head bar (fig. 43, in
yellow) so that it is parallel to the plate as close to the knife as possible
- Tighten the nut
- Turn the head bar to check if it can touch the knife.
