Adjusting plates
Distance from the knives
- Loosen the bolts (fig. 36, in
red)
- Slide the plates (fig. 36, in
blue) forward until the edge of
plates (fig. 36, in yellow),
which is in contact with the
fish, touches the knife
- Tighten the bolts
- Move the plates up and down
and move the knives to check
if the plates touch the knives
Gap between the plates
- Loosen the nuts (fig. 37, in
red)
- Turn the bolt (fig. 37, in blue)
to change the gap between
the plates (fig. 37, in yellow) if
needed
- Tighten the nuts
- Move the knife to check if
there is contact
