Adjusting backplates
Remove the knives
- Loosen the bolts (fig. 33, in red)
- Place the edge of the backplate
(fig. 33, in yellow) be as close to
the knives as possible
- If the plate moves away from the
knives, there is a larger gap further
away from the knife centre
- Tighten the bolts
- Move the knives to check if the
backplate touches them
Distance from the centre
- Loosen the nuts (fig. 35, in red)
- Remove the backplate (fig. 35, in
yellow) if needed
- Tighten the bolts
- Move the knives to check if the
backplate touches them
