THE MACHINE TAKEN OUT OF SERVICE
Water system emptied
If the machine is not used, the water system must be drained, in case of any risk of
frost, to prevent any damage:
1. Disconnect form the source of water (chapter 7.4.2)
2. Pull the hose off
3. Loosen the water supply connectors from the knives motors
4. Blow the water out of the water pipe and knives motors with high
pressure
WARNING!
Risk of freezing damage!
- Especially make sure the motors are
emptied of water
- It may be necessary to unfasten them to empty them
completely
THE MACHINE READY FOR STORAGE
INSTRUCTION
- If the machine is not used for a longer time, protection substances
must be applied on it that are harmless to people!
Recommended protection substances
- Protection substance spray BKS-P; best. No. 51100205 (400 ml can)
- Protection substance fluid BKS; best. No. 51100200 (5 litre container)
These protection substances are standardised according to NSF-H1.
The machine should preferably be stored in a frost-free area. In case of risk of frost in
the storage area or installation area, the water system must be emptied and
especially bear in mind the water-cooled knives motors.
