What to do if I get error messages on my Baby Lock Sewing Machine?
    • C
      Christopher WilliamsAug 19, 2025
If you're getting error messages on your Baby Lock Sewing Machine, especially motor errors, it usually means the Pro-Stitcher can't communicate with the motors. Check that the carriage is plugged in and the serial cables are properly connected to the box behind the Pro-Stitcher computer. If everything is connected and powered on, press the lightning bolt button to try re-establishing communication with the motors. The icon will turn red or green once communication is restored. If this happens during stitching, press the STOP button on the handles. After re-establishing communication, reset the starting point and resume stitching. If the touch-screen doesn't respond, reboot the tablet using the power button.

How to fix a Baby Lock Pro-Stitcher BLPS3 Sewing Machine Pro-Stitcher that moves but does not stitch?
    • K
      Kelly StewartAug 22, 2025
If your Baby Lock Sewing Machine's Pro-Stitcher moves but doesn't stitch, ensure the gray flat stitch regulator cable is plugged into the back of the C-Pod, the encoder wheel on the back wheel of the quilting machine, and the encoder wheel on the carriage. Also, check the black cable connecting the Pro-Stitcher to the machine encoder wheel. Verify communication by pressing Reconnect Machine in Settings -> Advanced. If the systems are communicating, pressing Full Stitch or Half Stitch should make the quilting machine's needle function. Check the gray stitch regulator cable for damage; a clipped wire at the C-Pod end is normal.

What to do if stitch lengths vary on my Baby Lock Sewing Machine?
    • K
      Kimberly AllenAug 25, 2025
If the stitch lengths vary and the quilting machine slows down or stops in some directions on your Baby Lock Sewing Machine, run the quilting machine manually in Stitch Regulated mode. Move the machine left and right, then front and back. If it stops stitching while moving front and back, the problem is with the encoder on the back of the machine. If it stops stitching left and right, the problem is with the encoder on the carriage. Make sure the encoder wheels roll on the tracks and the gray stitch regulator cable is securely plugged into the encoders.

Why is my Baby Lock Pro-Stitcher BLPS3 Sewing Machine stuck in a faster speed?
    • L
      Leon CabreraAug 28, 2025
If your Baby Lock Sewing Machine is stuck at a faster speed than selected by the Pro-Stitcher, something has caused the quilting machine to lock up. Reboot both the quilting machine and the Pro-Stitcher computer to resolve the issue.

What does 'Bufefr Underflow' mean on my Baby Lock Sewing Machine and how do I fix it?
    • I
      ivan34Aug 30, 2025
If a message with the words 'Bufefr Underflow' appears while stitching with your Baby Lock Sewing Machine, it indicates that data isn't getting to the motors quickly enough, possibly due to CPU usage. Although you might resume quilting by closing the error message and pressing the Motor Error lightning bolt button, it's best to cancel the current design, save the pattern, and reboot the computer. Use the New Start Point function to resume where you left off.

How to fix jagged or wobbly stitched designs on Baby Lock Pro-Stitcher BLPS3?
    • J
      Jose ChandlerSep 2, 2025
If stitched designs appear jagged or wobbly on your Baby Lock Sewing Machine, make sure the white gears completely engage the blue rack. If the X-axis gear doesn't fully engage without lowering the white gears, insert a thin washer between the X-axis assembly bracket and the sides of the carriage. Remove the black screws mounting the motor assembly to the carriage sides and wedge the washers between the inner wall of the carriage and the motor assembly bracket.

    • P
      Philip JohnstonSep 5, 2025
If the LED near the battery symbol and the Windows button are not lit on your Baby Lock Sewing Machine, there is no power to the tablet computer. Ensure the power cord to the Pro-Stitcher is plugged into a powered outlet and the power supply under the carriage. Check that the round barrel connector is firmly plugged into the mating cable connector under the Pro-Stitcher carriage. If all cables are plugged in, press the Power button on the top left-hand side of the monitor.
