If you receive the motor strain error message during normal stitching conditions:
1. Check for and remove any obstrucons.
2. Clear the error message by touching the X in the upper-right corner of the message.
3. Press Reconnect Motors or the Motor Error buon in the top-right corner of the screen to reestab-
lish communicaons between the Pro-Stcher computer and the motors
4. Reduce your quilng speed and resume quilng.
5. If you connue to receive the error message, change the speed prole (Sengs, Advanced,
Speed Prole). If the current seng is Default, select Speed. If the current seng is Speed, select
Default. If the error message persists aer you resume quilng, select Precision.
6. If you connue to receive the motor strain error message, adjust the Motor Torque Limit.
To adjust the Motor Torque Limit
1. Select Sengs, Advanced, Motor.
2. Increase the Motor Torque Limit to lessen the motor sensivity or decrease the Motor Torque Limit
to increase the motor sensivity. Select the number box and enter the value. Typically entering 55
or 60 is sucient to eliminate the error message except when there is a signicant obstrucon.
U CAUTION: Increasing the Motor Torque Limit means that the Pro-Stcher motors will be less
responsive to obstrucons and may connue running, potenally causing damage to the quilt.
Decreasing the Motor Torque Limit means that the Pro-Stcher motors will stop more easily when
there is resistance.
 IMPORTANT: Do not increase the Motor Torque Limit above 100 or decrease it below 40.

Shut Down
Three shutdown opons are available on the Shut Down menu.
To shutdown all soware and power down the computer
Select Shutdown from the menu. Then select the Shutdown buon.
You should do a full shutdown when done using Pro-Stcher.
To shutdown the soware and computer, and then start up again
Select Shutdown from the menu. Then select the Reboot buon.
If you suspect there may be computer-related issues interfering with Pro-Stcher, reboong the computer
oen will help.
