4: Verify Performance
Before using the MicroFlo Select for the first time, verify that it is operating properly by
turning it on. The power switch is located on the dispenser’s left side.
Each time the dispenser is turned on, it automatically performs a system self-test. This test
checks the carrier, cassette status, pump positioning and operation. If the test passes, the
Main Menu appears and the dispenser is ready for use.
If the self-test fails, the dispenser will “chirp” and display an error code. Press the
Stop
button on the keypad and then look up the code in
Appendix A, Error Codes.
 Note: You can also run this test from the dispenser’s keypad, by
selecting   Dispenser Action Menu> UTIL> SLFCHK.
When using the LHC, select Tools>Instrument Utilities.
