How to remove the Tip Holder shields:
1
Look for the break-away notches etched into the two remaining shields on the
outer edge of the Tip Holder.
2 You can use your thumb and forefinger to snap the tab off and away from the
tips, but the job is easier when a small set of pliers, a wrench, or similar tool is
used to get a good grip on the tab.
You can remove the outer shields if necessary.
