Note: The selection of categories available for various places can
vary. The choice of categories in the special destination menus de-
pends on what special destinations are available at the destination
places.
Special destinations - in the destination surrounding area
Before you can select special destinations at your destination or in the surrounding
area of your destination, you first have to enter a place name as the destination.
1 Enter a place name as the destination.
2 After you have specified the place name, select SPECial DESTinatioN in
the destination input menu.
✔ The list of special destination types that are available for the selected
place is displayed.
3 Use the or button : to scroll through the list and select the required
special destination type using the OK button ;.
✔ The available destinations are displayed alphabetically.
Note: If a category contains more than 20 entries, the text input line
will be displayed first of all. Use it to enter the required name or the
first few letters and then open the list.
4 Select the required special destination from the list.
As soon as you have selected the required special destination and confirmed it,
you can start navigation. For further information, read the section entitled “Nav-
igation”.
