Special destinations - national destinations
As your special destination you can select motorway junctions, motorway serv-
ice stations, airports and border crossings from the entire region covered by the
navigation CD that you are currently using. All you need to know to use this
feature is the name of the destination that you require.
1 Press the NAV button 7.
✔ The last destination in the current navigation memory bank is displayed
for seven seconds. After the seven seconds have elapsed or after the
ESC button 8 has been pressed, a menu for selecting the destination
type (CITY or SPECial DESTinatioN) is displayed.
2 Select SPECial DESTinatioN.
✔ A list of special destination types is displayed.
Please refer to the list at the start of this section to find out which special desti-
nation types are available nationally.
3 Select the required category.
✔ The text input line for specifying the special destination is displayed.
4 Enter the special destination name in the same way as you would enter a
destination name,
5 switch to the list and
6 select the required destination.
As soon as you have selected the required special destination and confirmed it,
you can start navigation. For further information, read the section entitled “Nav-
igation”.
