Precautions to keep good printing quality/use printer over the long term
6-1-3. Refilling the cleaning solution
If is displayed in the remaining ink volume indication window on the operation panel screen, refill the ink.
<CAUTION>
 Be sure to wear a pair of plastic gloves and protective glasses while working.
<TIPS>
 Also check to see if the cleaning solution is kept at a proper liquid level in the cleaning solution tank and refill the tank with the
solution if its amount is insufficient.
(1)
From the menu, select [Refill Ink] and press .
(2)
Select [Cleaning solution] and press .
(3) Open the cleaning solution bottle and attach the supplied faucet.
<IMPORTANT>
 Protect the ink on the faucet in use with a plastic bag to prevent the ink from drying out.
 Do not use a non-standard funnel. Use the provided faucet. Otherwise, the cleaning solution may be contaminated or
deteriorated, possibly damaging the printer.
