What to do if my Brother MFC-J2510 cannot detect an ink cartridge?

If your Brother Printer cannot detect a newly installed ink cartridge, it might be due to a few reasons. You may have installed the new ink cartridge too quickly. Remove the cartridge and reinstall it slowly until the cartridge lever lifts. Also, ensure the ink cartridge is installed correctly. If you're using non-Brother original ink, the printer might not detect it, so replace it with a Brother Original ink cartridge. If the error persists, contact Brother customer service or your local Brother dealer.
