CONNECTING TYPE R SYSTEM ELEMENTS TOGETHER
Starting from the core:-
The Console Surface panels are connected via gigabit PoE+ switches which provide both power and communications. The example
below shows two switches which offers a diversity of connections to the 24 fader Console.
In addition to the panels, a PC is connected providing the Calrec Assist application for configuration and additional parameter control.
The Audio I/O boxes are connected over AoIP streams using AoIP switches with both primary and secondary connections for
redundancy.
