AES Audio In 25 way ‘D’ type
Connector
This connector is used for 4 x AES input
ports.
Note that there are 4 x SRC indicator
LEDs on the front of the UR6500 Core
Box and 8 x SRC indicator LEDs on the
front of the JD6503 AES I/O Box to show
when sample rate conversion is being
applied to each input port.
This connector appears on the UR6500
Core Box , AD6501 Combo I/O Box and
the JD6503 AES I/O Box and conforms
to the AES59/Tascam® standard.
AES Audio In RJ45 type Connector
This connector is used for 1 x AES input
ports.
The pinout for AES input ports 2, 3, 4 is
identical to the port 1 pinout.
This connector appears on the UR6500
Core Box, AD6501 Combo I/O Box and
the JD6503 AES I/O Box and conforms
to the StudioHub+ standard pin-out.
All cabling using this RJ45 connector
type for audio must be CAT5e or CAT6
shielded twisted pair (STP).
