RECEIVING AND INSPECTION

Upon receiving the control package and/or fans, check for any interior and exterior damage, and if

found, report it immediately to the carrier. Check that all accessory items are accounted for and

free of damage.

Installation of this fan and control package should only be performed by a qualified professional

who has read and understands these instructions and is familiar with proper safety precautions.

Improper installation poses a serious risk of injury due to electric shock, contact with rotating

equipment, and other potential hazards. Read this manual thoroughly before installing or

servicing this equipment. ALWAYS disconnect power prior to working on fans.

  If your CaptiveAire Fans are spinning in the wrong direction, it's likely a wiring issue with the 3-phase motor output. You can correct this by changing two of the three-phase wires on the output of the VFD feeding the motor, or by making the change in the software.

Why isn't my CaptiveAire Fan cooling the room properly?

  If the room temperature is too warm and your CaptiveAire Fans aren't cooling, the fan activation temperature might be set too high; try reducing it. Also, ensure the fan is spinning counter-clockwise when viewed from the floor in cooling mode. Finally, make sure equipment or storage items aren't blocking the airstream under the fan.
