Calibration
The 190 indicator has six modes that can be used to perform calibration. Four of the modes
require a test load or test weights, one requires the scale to be empty (and at zero) and the
last uses the calibration “C” numbers from a previous calibration.
CAL
With CAL displayed, press the TARE key. The display will change to CAL1=. Proceed to
the CAL1= parameter.
CAL?
With CAL? displayed, press the TARE key. The display will change to no. Press the
Fn/ key to toggle to yes and press the TARE key. The display will change to
CAL1=. Proceed to the CAL1= parameter.
Otherwise, to skip Calibration, press the TARE key to advance to the sio?. prompt.
NOTE: During calibration, it will be necessary to enter values using the 190 keypad.
• Pressing the TARE key will cause the data entered or displayed to be retained
(saved) and the 190 to advance to the next prompt.
• The numeric key functions are replaced by using the UNITS/ and the Fn/ keys.
• The cursor location is identified by the blinking character and can be advanced to the
left to the next position by pressing the UNITS/ key.
• Pressing the Fn/ key will change the blinking character to the next value.
