ECG100+ - ECG200+ - ECG100S - ECG200S
7. EXECUTION OF AN EXAM
If the automatic printing option (Par.8.6.2) is enabled, the examination is printed automatically at the end of
the acquisition. In the same way, if the automatic saving option (Par. 8.6.2) is enabled, the examination is
saved automatically at the end of the acquisition.
If these options are not enabled, the examination can be printed and saved using the function keys as
described below.
Function keys
The function keys allow you to:
F1 (Print) to print the ECG (or reprint it if automatic printing was enabled),
F2 (Save) to save the ECG (disabled if the automatic saving function is active),
F3 (STAT) to associate the “urgent” status to the ECG (Par. 7.6),
F5 (More) to activate functions for modifying printing formats,
F6 (Close) to go back to the real time display screen.
Hot keys
LINK key allows you to transmit the examination (if the connectivity option is active and correctly
set) and export the ECG raw record (SCPECG format) and the PDF to the USB memory stick if
inserted.
NOTE: the format of the PDF report is the same as the printing format.
Modifying printing formats
The F5 key (More) allows you to activate functions for modifying printing formats:
F1 (Speed) to modify printing speed (25, 50 mm/s)
F2 (Gain) to modify the amplitude of the tracings (5, 10, 20 mm/mV)
F3 (Filter) to select the low-pass filter to apply to the tracings (off, 150, 40, 25 Hz)
F4 (variable label): to modify the display format of the tracings (12x1 (only ECG200+/ECG200S), 6x2,
3x4+3, 3x4+1, 3x4). The label shows the current display format.
F5 (Print) to print the ECG with the current settings
F6 (Back) to go back to the previous display.
NOTE: To speed up acquisition of the ECG, the electrocardiograph starts acquiring data as soon as the patient
is connected. This way, when the “AUTO” key is pressed, the electrocardiograph analyses the data already
acquired and, if it finds 10 s of valid data, it saves them without needing to wait a further 10 s of acquisition.
Therefore it is important to ask the patient to relax on his/her back to make sure that the ECG is free of
artefacts due to inactivity of the patient and, if possible, to follow the work flow described in the previous
paragraphs (connecting patient – entering data – acquisition) to give the tracings time to stabilise.
