8. MENU AND DEVICE SETTINGS
Display and function keys
You may shift among the fields of the page by using the function keys:
F1 () to move to the previous field,
F2 () to move to the following field,
F3 () to increase the value of a field or to select one of the possible items associated,
F4 () to decrease the value of a field or to select one of the possible items associated.
The other function keys allow you to:
F5 (Cancel) go back to the initial screen without saving
F6 (Done) save the changes and go back to the initial screen
The “Timezone” field allows the user to set the time zone of reference.
Automatic synchronisation with a server
The date and time can be set manually or you may choose automatic synchronisation with a server (if the
electrocardiograph is provided with a connectivity option and is connected to Internet).
In this second case, the user cannot modify the Date and Time fields and the system automatically considers
the address set in the “Time Server” field of Settings (described in par.8.6.5) as the address of the server to
which the device must be linked. If automatic synchronisation is enabled, the program automatically updates
from Winter Time to Summer Time. Otherwise the time must be updated manually.
