5. Remove the jam nuts (5) and gasket from the ex-
haust connection.
6. Remove the upper engine mount. Note the mount-
ing nut is welded to an extension bracket for ease
of removal/installation.
7. Remove the tie-wraps holding connectors to the
belt guard and then remove belt guard.
8. Slide the generator removal bracket (Carrier
Transicold part number SKM-5670) into the rear
engine support channel.
NOTE
For additional security, the generator removal
bracket may be modified to add a slot under
the rear mount for installation of an engine
mounting bolt. If this slot has been added, in-
sert the bolt as shown in step 9. If slot is not
added, proceed to step 10.

9. Insert an engine mounting bolt in the rear mount
and trough the slot in the engine support to prevent
movement of the support.
