1.Lowertheattachmentuntilitisrestingontheground.
2.Turntheenginethrottlebutton(1)tolowidleposition
andlettheenginerunfor5minutesorso.
NOTICE:Incoldweather,lettheenginerunforabout10
minutesatidlespeed.
NOTICE:Alwayslettheenginerunatidlebeforeswitch-
ingoffcompletely,exceptinemergencysituations.
3.Turnthestarterswitchkey(2)totheOFFposition.
NOTE:Toactivatetheanti-theftprotectionwhenstopping
theengine,(refertopage“4-4”).
NOTICE:Whentheengineistobeshutdownforacon-
siderablelengthoftime,(refertopage“4-36”).
Intheeventofanemergency

Intheeventofanemergencyorifitisnotpossibleto
stoptheengineusingthestarterswitchkey,pressthe
emergencyshut-downswitchontheleft-handcontrolarm.
NOTE:Thisswitchshouldonlybeusedincaseofan
emergency.Donotuseitonaday-to-daybasistostop
theengine.
