1.Armangleadjustmentlever.
Thisleverisusedtoadjustthecontrolarmtiltinfour
differentpositionstosuittheoperator.Pullthelever
andholditinthisposition,selecttherequiredposition
andthenreleasethelever.
Whentheleverislowered,thecontrolarmisauto-
maticallyplacedintheselectedposition.
NOTE:Whenadjustingthecontrolarm,theengine
mustbestopped.
2.Functioncancellationleverandliftingthecontrolarm
Thisleverisusedtocancelthefunctionswithouthav-
ingtoraisethecontrolarm.Itisalsousedtooperate
thesafetybar(3).(Refertopage3-51).Thislever
alsomakesitpossibletoraisethecontrolarmcom-
pletely,whichalsocancelsallmachinefunctions.
3.Safetybar
Thepurposeofthissafetybaristopreventtheoper-
atorleavingtheoperator'scompartmentwithoutrst
operatingthefunctioncancellationlever(2).

4.Horn
Tosoundthehorn,presstheendoftheleft-hand
controllever.
NOTICE:Alwayssoundthehornbeforeoperating
themachine.

7.Cabradiomutecontrol.
Locatedbelowthecontrollever,thiscontrolisused
tomutethesoundwithouthavingtooperatethecab
radio.
Pressandreleasethecontroltomutethesound.
Pressonceagainonthecontrolandrelease,the
soundisrestored.
NOTE:Withtheenginestopped,ifthesoundis
muted,itwillstillbeactivewhentheengineis
restarted.

9.Emergencyshutdownswitch.
Thiscontrolenablestheenginetobeshutdownin
emergencyorwhenitisnotpossibletoshutitdown
bymeansofthestarterswitchkey.
Pressonthefrontofthecontrol,theenginestops,the
audiblewarningdevicesounds,thecontrolindicator
lampcomesonandthemessage"Enginestop"is
displayed,referto3-26.
Tostarttheengineagain,pressonthebackofthe
controloncemoreandthenturnthestarterswitch
keytostarttheengine.
