Respectthemaintenanceintervalsbycheckingthe
hourmetereveryday.Beforestartingmaintenance,park
themachineonat,rmground,awayfromanyobsta-
cles,withthearmretractedandthebucketontheground.
Unlessotherwisespecied,allmaintenanceoperations
mustbecarriedoutwiththeenginestopped,andthekey
removedfromthestarterswitchkey.Itispreferableto
waitforallcircuitstocooldownbeforestartingwork.
Cleanthegreasettingsbeforelubrication.Cleanaround
plugsandllerholesbeforeaddinguid.Nodustordirt
mustenterthecomponentsorthecircuits.Wearsuitable
clothingandremembertousethenecessarysafetyequip-
ment.
Whencarryingoutserviceworkonthemachine,place
a"Donotoperate"tagontheinstrumentpanel.Never
climbdownfromtheoperator'scompartmentleavingthe
enginerunning.
Removethenecessarylowerpanelsduringmaintenance
ofcertainmachinecomponents.
NOTE:Beforeundertakinganytravel,makesurethe
lowerpanelsarecorrectlyclosed.
Anymodicationtothismachinewithoutpriorauthoriza-
tioncouldcauseseriousinjury.Donotmakeanymodi-
cationswithoutauthorization.ConsultyourCASECON-
STRUCTIONDealer.
NOTICE:Ifyouuseyourmachineinparticularlyharsh
conditions(dustyorcorrosiveatmosphere,etc.),theser-
vicingintervalsshouldbereducedaccordingly.
NOTICE:Takeparticularcaretoreplaceallltersregu-
larly.Cleanltersmeanlongerenginerunninglife.
NOTE:Oilanduidshouldnotbethrownontheground.
Theymustbestoredandremovedbyacompanywhich
isresponsiblefortheirrecyclingortheirdisposal.
SYSTEMGARDLUBRICATIONANALYSIS
PROGRAM
AskyourCASECONSTRUCTIONdealeraboutourlubri-
cantanalysisprogram,Systemgard.Throughthisser-
vice,yourlubricantsaretestedinanindependentlab-
oratory.Yousimplyremoveasampleoflubricantfrom
yourmachineandsendthesampletotheindependent
Systemgardlaboratory.Afterthesampleisprocessed,
thelaboratorywillreportbacktoyouandguideyouwith
maintenancerequirements.Systemgardcanhelpsup-
portyourequipmentuptimeandprovideyouwithaser-
vicethatcanpaybackdividendswhenyoutradeforan-
otherpieceofequipment.
Thenormalengineoilchangeintervalisevery500hours
ofoperation.Operatingconditions,qualityoftheengine
oilandsulphurcontentofthefuelcanchangethisinterval.
ItisrecommendedthatyouusetheSystemgardLubricant
