Makersoflargerenginepermittheuseofthiskindoffuel.

However,donotusedieselfuelcontaminatedwithengineoilincustomer'sengines.

Notonlywillthisfueldamagetheengine,itmayalsohaveanegativeimpactontheexhaustgaspuricationfunction.

Beforeusingdieselfuel,conrmwiththesupplierwhetherthefuelcomplieswiththeabovespecications.

Fuelstorage:
Longstoragecanleadtotheaccumulationofimpuritiesandcondensationinthefuel.Enginetroublecanoftenbe
tracedtothepresenceofwaterinthefuel.
Thestoragetankmustbeplacedoutsideandthetemperatureofthefuelshouldbekeptaslowaspossible.Drainoff
waterandimpuritiesregularly.
Biodieselfuel
FattyAcidMethylEsterBiodiesel(BiodieselFuel)consistsofafamilyoffuelsderivedfromvegetableoilstreatedwith
methylesters.
NOTICE:biodieselFuelblendsareapprovedforyourengineonlyiftheycomplywithEN14214SpecicationStan-
dardsorASTMD6751.
NOTICE:itisimperativethatyoucheckwhichblendisapprovedforyourenginewithyourCASECONSTRUCTION
Dealer.BeawarethattheuseofBiodieselFuelthatdoesnotcomplywiththeStandardsmentionedabovecouldlead
toseveredamagetotheengineandfuelsystemofyourmachine.Theuseoffuelsthatarenotapprovedmayvoid
CASECONSTRUCTIONWarrantycoverage.
BiodieselFuelUsageConditions:
NOTICE:theBiodieselFuelmustmeetthefuelSpecicationmentionedabove.
BiodieselFuelmustbepurchasedfromatrustedsupplierthatunderstandstheproductandmaintainsgoodfuelqual-
ity.BiodieselFuelmustbepre-blendedbythesupplier.MixingBiodieselFuelson-sitecanresultincorrectmixture
thatcanleadtoproblemswithbothengineandfuelsystem.
EngineperformanceisaffectedbytheuseofBiodieselFuel.Theremaybeupto12%reductioninpowerortorque
dependingontheblendused.
NOTICE:DONOTmodifytheengineand/orinjectionpumpsettingstorecoverthereducedperformance.
ThereducedpowermustbeacceptedifusinganyBiodieselFuelblend.
