pump(4).
Turnthishandleuntiltherearenomoreairbubblesin
thefuel.

7.TurnthestarterswitchOFF.
8.Next,tightentheairbleedplug(2)thatwasloosened
inStep3,thencontinuetoturnthefeedpumphandle

Whenthehandlebecomesdifculttoturn,airbleed-
ingiscomplete.
Tighteningtorquefortheairbleedplug(2):.8-
12N·m(5.90-8.85lbft)
9.Pushthehandle(1)ofthefeedpumpbacktoitsorig-
inalposition.
10.TurnthestarterswitchONtooperatetheelectromag-
neticfeedpumpdrainingthecontaminant(impurities)
insidefuelpipesforanother30seconds.
11.Setthestopvalves(A),(B),and(C)asfollows.
Fueltank(A):Open
Engine(B):Closed
Drain(C):Open
12.Wipeoffanyspilledfuel,starttheengine,andcheck
foranyfuelleaks.
NOTICE:Ifthescrewistightenedmorethanthe
speciedvalue,therubbersectionofthegasketmay
bedamaged.
