Obstaclewarning
The“Obst.AlarmAudio”windowonthe
“PrecisionFarmingSetup”screen(Home
>Toolbox>PF)determineswhetheran
audiblealarmsoundswhenthevehicle(with
itsimplementorheader)enterstheobstacle
warningzone.
Theaudiblealarmisautomaticallyenabledandcannotbe
disabledwheneverthe“Autoguidance”applicationisac-
tiveinthedisplay.Thewindowisdimmedandcannotbe
selected.Theaudiblealarmbeepsslowlyfor3s,and
thenmorerapidlyfor2stoalerttheoperatorthattheve-
hicle(withitsimplementorheader)isapproachingaeld
obstacle.Afterthis5speriod,asinglealarmtonesounds
onceevery30suntilthewarningconditionclears.The
alarmisaccompaniedbyaashing“ApproachingObsta-
cle”iconinthestatusandwarningiconarea.
Whenthe“Autoguidance”applicationisnotactive,theop-
eratorcanturntheaudiblealarmONorOFF .Ifthealarmis
turnedON,asingletonesoundsonceevery30suntilthe
warningconditionclears.IfthealarmisturnedOFF ,no
audiblealarmoccurs.The“ApproachingObstacle”icon
displaysinthestatusandwarningiconarearegardlessof
whethertheaudiblealarmisturnedONorOFF.Theicon
asheswhenthealarmisturnedONanddisplayswithout
ashingwhenthealarmisturnedOFF.
NOTE:Thealarmbehavioroccursifanypartofthevehi-
cle(withitsimplementorheader)entersthealarmzone.
NOTE:Whenthe“Autoguidance”applicationisactive,the
obstaclewarningbehavioriscanceledwhenthesteer-
ingwheelisturnedorthe“GuidanceEngage”buttonis
pressedtodisengageautomaticsteering.

Thealarmzoneisdifferentforforwardandreverseoper-
ation.
Ifthevehicleisoperatinginaforwardgear,the
approachingobstaclewarningoccurs:

Whenthevehicleiswithin5m(16ft)oftheobstacle
OR
•
Whenthevehicle,atitscurrentspeed,iswithinthe
alarmlookaheaddistanceoftheobstacle,asdened
inthe“AlarmLookAhead”window(Home>Toolbox>
PF)
