Immediately stop using the battery pack if, while operating, charging or storing the battery, it
emits unusual smell, feels hot, changes color or shape, or seems abnormal in any other way.
Do not place the battery pack in or near fire, on stoves or other high temperature locations.
Do not place the battery pack in direct sunlight or use or store the battery pack in the car in
hot weather. Doing so may cause the battery pack to generate heat, explode or ignite.
Using the battery pack in this manner may also result in loss of performance and a
shortened life expectancy.
CHD recommends annual replacement of rechargeable battery packs to ensure maximum
performance.
