P-DIMEX Prodigy Single Button Wireless Dimmer and
P-SWEX Prodigy Single Button Wireless Switch
The Prodigy Single Button Wireless Dimmer (P-DIMEX) and Single Button
Wireless Switch (P-SWEX) are optional interfaces that are used for local
control of lighting in a Prodigy system. Depending on the system
configuration, up to 99 switches/dimmers can be used in a Prodigy system.
The P-DIMEX has light emitting diodes (LEDs), a rocker button, and an air-
gap switch. The LED indicates the lighting level while the rocker button can
be pushed at the top or bottom to perform specific functions .The air-gap
switch can de used to disconnect power to the dimmer or program a preset
lighting level.
The P-SWEX has an LED and a rocker button. The LED indicates the status
of the load while the rocker button can be pushed at the top or bottom to
perform specific functions.
Control a Dimmer
Raise/Lower the Lighting Level
Use the rocker button to recall a preset lighting level, raise the level to 100%
brightness, lower the lighting level, or turn off the light.
To raise the light level to its preset lighting level, tap the upper part of
the rocker button.
To raise the light level to 100% brightness, double-tap the upper part
of the rocker button.
To manually raise the light level, press and hold the upper part of the
rocker button. Release when the desired lighting level is reached.
To fade to off, tap the lower part of the rocker button.
To turn off the light quickly, double-tap the lower part of the rocker
button.
To manually lower the light level, press and hold the lower part of the
rocker button. Release when the desired lighting level is reached.
