Troubleshooting
The following table provides corrective action for possible trouble situations.
If further assistance is required, please contact your Crestron Prodigy dealer.
PMC2 Troubleshooting
TROUBLE POSSIBLE CAUSE(S) CORRECTIVE ACTION
System does not
respond to PTX3
button presses.
PTX3 battery power is
low.
Place the PTX3 in its docking
station/charger to recharge
the batteries.
P-TSTATRF does
not respond to
system
commands.
P-TSTATRF Battery
power is low.
Replace the batteries.
Controlled media
device does not
function as
expected.
Device is not
synchronized with
Prodigy System. For
example, AV receiver is
set to the wrong input or
display device is turned
off.
Manually set device to
desired setting. For example,
push the correct input button
on the AV receiver or turn on
the display device.
