System
• COOL: In Cool mode, the thermostat uses the cooling system to
maintain the setpoint temperature. On the P-TSTATRF, the
“snowflake” icon will be displayed.
• AUTO: In Auto mode, the thermostat allows the system to switch
between Heat and Cool automatically as needed to maintain the
setpoint temperature. On the P-TSTATRF, the display will show the
“flame” and “snowflake” icons.
To set a controlled zone’s system mode with the PTX3:
1. Select the zone to be controlled as described on page 28.
2. Touch MODE until the desired setting is displayed.
NOTE: Not all modes are available for all HVAC zones.
