vPad-A1 OPERATORS MANUAL
When an Over Pressure test is started, it attempts to pump air into the
pneumatic system until the relief valves are triggered. If the A1 senses a
valve trigger, it will immediately stop pumping and allow the
DUT to vent
system pressure for the duration of the Release Time.
At the conclusion of the
Release Time countdown, the End Pressure will be
recorded and the tester will vent all remaining pressure and report two
measurements:
Actual Pop Off Pressure - exact pressure that caused valve trigger
End Pressure - system pressure at the expiration of Release Time
See
Figure 90
for a sample Over Pressure test report.
If the test does not sense a valve trigger before reaching
Target Pressure,
then it will instead report the Actual Pop Off Pressure as “Not tripped”, and
the End Pressure will remain blank.
