Installing the smart-card reader

NOTE: The smart-card reader is available only on certain configurations.
Prerequisites
If you are replacing a component, remove the existing component before performing the installation process.
About this task
The following images indicate the location of the smart card reader and provide a visual representation of the installation
procedure.

Steps
1. Align and place the smart-card reader on its slot on the palm-rest assembly.
2. Replace the four screws (M2x2) that adheres the smart-card reader to the palm-rest assembly.
3. Connect the smart-card cable to the connector on the USH board and close the latch.
