Connect the headphones to the
PHONES
PHONES jack of the front panel.

Press SPEAKER A or B to turn the

speaker off.

Cautions:
l No sound is produced from the headphones when speakers A or B
are turned on.
l When an external power amplifier is connected to the front preout
jacks, turn off the external power amplifier’s speaker switch.

Use this to turn off the audio output
temporarily.
MUTING
Press MUTING.
9% Cancelling MUTING mode.
Press the MUTING button again.

Use this switch to monitor a

Front panel display

Using the dimmer function
l Use this to change the brightness of the
DlMMER
display.
The display brightness changes in four
steps (bright, medium, dim and off) by
pressing the main unit’s DIMMER
repeatedly.

pressed, and finally the display turns off.
NOTE:
To prevent hearing loss, do not raise the volume level excessively
when using headphones.
