IOL FORMULA REFERENCES
The following IOL Power Calculaon formulas are included in the Scanmate IOL Calculator. The
formulas selected for inclusion are commonly used, and have been rened from earlier models.
IOL power calculaon formulas have evolved from the rst models to become more accurate in
a wider range of cases; selecng the appropriate IOL formula will be based on the individual
praconer’s judgment and experience. The IOL Power Calculaons are based on formulas
published in peer-reviewed journals.
