6. Observe axial length measurements to be 12.60 mm +/- 0.1 mm. Readings outside these
limits do not necessarily indicate the device is out of calibraon. If an erroneous reading is
obtained, verify that the following fault condions are not present and repeat the
measurements on the reference test block:
A. Ensure excessive water is not on the reference test block. During the test mode, the
algorithm does not preclude measurement of tear lm as it does during normal
operaon. Therefore, if excessive water was placed on the reference block, the water
depth may be measured causing longer axial length measurements.
B. The reference test block is sensive to temperature. The block must be
stabilized at 72°F ±10°F before measurements are taken.
7. If the reference block readings are outside the limits stated, it is possible that the unit
is defecve and needs repair. Refer to the Repairs and Customer Support secon (below)
for informaon on contacng DGH Technology.

If shipping a device to for service or repair, the baery must be disabled. To disable the baery,
use a pick to slide the baery disable switch to the “O” posion. Refer to the Inial Setup and
Enabling / Disabling The Baery secon for informaon on enabling/disabling the device
baery.

baery may cause damage to the device, excessive temperatures, re or explosion. The
