Symptom:
LEFT FOG LAMP OUTPUT OPEN
When Monitored and Set Condition:
LEFT FOG LAMP OUTPUT OPEN
When Monitored: Output is ON to OFF transition.
Set Condition: When Output is ON to OFF transition and voltage is detected low at
output for greater then 50 micros seconds.

LEFT FOG LAMP OUTPUT CIRCUIT OPEN
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIIIt, clear all BCM DTC’s.
Turn the Fog Lamps on.
With the DRBIIIt, read the DTC information.
Does the DRBIIIt read: Left Fog Lamp Output Open?
All
Yes → Go To 2
No → The condition that caused the symptom is currently not present.
Inspect the related wiring for a possible intermittent condition.
Look for any chafed, pierced,pinched, or partially broken wires.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
2 Turn the ignition off.
Disconnect the Body Control Module C2 harness connector.
Disconnect the Left Fog Lamp.
Measure the resistance of the Left Fog Lamp Output Circuit.
Is the resistance below 5.0 ohms?
All
Yes → Replace the Body Control Module.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
No → Repair the Left Fog Lamp Output Circuit.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
