Symptom:
TIRE PRESSURE LOW - BCM
When Monitored and Set Condition:
TIRE PRESSURE LOW - BCM
When Monitored: Ignition ON and Start positions.
Set Condition: When the BCM input from the TPM Module toggles two seconds Hi and
two seconds Low.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
TIRE PRESSURE LOW CONDITION PRESENT
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Turn the ignition on.
With the DRBIIIt, read BCM DTCs.
Does the DRBIIIt display TIRE PRESSURE LOW?
All
Yes → Check and adjust tire pressure.
Perform TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM VERIFICA-
TION TEST.
No → Go To 2
2 Turn the ignition off.
Visually inspect the related wiring harness. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched, or
partially broken wires.
Visually inspect the related wire harness connectors. Look for broken, bent, pushed
out, or corroded terminals.
Refer to any Hotline letters or Technical Service Bulletins that may apply.
Were any problems found?
All
Yes → Repair as necessary.
Perform TIRE PRESSURE MONITORING SYSTEM VERIFICA-
TION TEST.
No → Test Complete.
