Dodge ZB 2005 - Vtss Lamp on Steady During Arming

Symptom:
*VTSS LAMP ON STEADY DURING ARMING
POSSIBLE CAUSES
CHECK FOR BCM DTC(S) AND VTSS ARMING INHIBITORS
INTERMITTENT CONDITION
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 Ensure hood and decklid are closed.
With the DRBIIIt check the following:
Read the BCM for any ignition switch, door entry switch or key cylinder switch
DTC’s.
In Inputs/Outputs, checkthat the hoodajar and trunk ajar switch states display open
with the hood and decklid closed.
Were there any problems found?
All
Yes → Refer to the Symptom List and diagnose the appropriate symp-
tom.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST - 1A.
No → Inspect the related wiring harness and switches for a possible
intermittent condition. Look for any chafed, pierced, pinched or
partially broken wires.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST - 1A.
