*EXTERIOR LAMPS FAIL TO FLASH WHEN ALARM IS TRIPPED
POSSIBLE CAUSES
BCM DTCS OR EXTERIOR LAMP OPERATION
BODY CONTROL MODULE
TEST ACTION APPLICABILITY
1 NOTE: Check for any TSBs that may apply before continuing with this test.
Attempt to operate the Fog and Parking lamps.
With the DRBIIIt, read BCM DTCs.
Were there any problems found?
All
Yes Refer to symptom list for problems related to Exterior Lighting.
Perform VTSS VERIFICATION TEST - 1A.
No Replace and program the Body Control Module in accordance
with the Service Information.
Perform BODY VERIFICATION TEST - VER 1.
